Clark Lake was visited by a two-engine G-21A Grumman seaplane around noon today.  As you will see in the photos, this plane was larger than most that land in the lake.  In some of the photos, you can also see what appear to be dropdown wheels, so the plane is not limited to water alone.

Before taking off, the plane taxied from Eagle Point to the head-of-the-lake and turned around.  As it accelerated, it established a trajectory northeast.

The plane is registered to an individual with an address of Huxley, Iowa.

Clark Lake receives seaplane visits from time to time.  Recently, six sky divers splashed down in front of the Eagle’s Nest.  In case you missed the story, please click here.  Includes video.
