At the close of a day that saw bright sunshine, 60 degrees, and melting ice, the sunset provided another kind of icing–icing on the cake.  Below, check out photos taken over a half hour period.  One of them shows some streaks of purple/pink that lasted only a moment.  The first photo in this series shows the sun still in the sky, and is what the DamCam saw.
