The Raft-O-Rama Committee met just a few feet away from where the action will take place on Sunday, August 7th.  Yes, the planning starts this early for Clark Lake’s big event.

The action centers at Eagle Point.  That’s where the winners receive their awards, the silent auction speaks to your wallet, the kids enjoy inflatables and get their faces painted, Clark Lake rocks to live music, and the Spirit of Clark Lake award is announced. 

Now, in the midst of winter is the time Clark Lakers think ahead to Raft-O-Rama.  But to conjure up their entry, they need to know the theme.  So, what is it? The theme for 2022 will be Landmarks and Amazing Places.  That opens the door wide to all sorts of possibilities.  And as you probably know, the quickest way to brush away the effects of a long winter is to envision what your raft will look like.

Last summer’s big turnout celebrated Raft-O-Rama’s 60th anniversary.  Naturally the theme was the 1960s.  Click here to revisit the day, the winners and participants.
