Labor Day has come and gone. As a season finale, Blackstone Steel performs on the Eagle’s Nest Lakeside Patio 7 to 9 pm tomorrow (Sat 9/30). All season, a variety of popular musical acts have entertained from a raft attached to the patio. “That gives guests more room on the patio, and provides a perfect stage for musicians, and is in tune with Clark Lake,” says owner Blair Huff.

The Eagle’s Nest is open all year. What’s ahead for Eagle’s Nest entertainment? Blair says mark Thursdays on your calendar. “We have a great fall and winter line up. We call it Thursday Night Live from the Room with a View.” Blair is describing the performers’ stage – the all window room that looks out on the lake. “Time it right, and you witness one of Clark Lake’s beautiful sunsets.”
Going into his third year as owner, Blair says he’s getting terrific feedback about the Eagle’s Nest. “Clark Lake is a strong community. When we decided to move forward, we felt confident. And the good results speak for themselves.” Blair comments “We’ve tailored the hours to fit the schedules of most guests – Wednesday and Thursday, 4 to 9 pm; Friday and Saturday, Noon to 9 pm; and Sunday, brunch 10 am to 1:30 pm, the regular menu 2 pm to 8 pm.” Blair adds “many from Jackson and surrounding area enjoy the short drive, and feel all the more relaxed once they breath in Clark Lake’s fresh air and take in the view.”
Since reestablishing the Eagle’s Nest brand, the building has undergone several changes. One addition welcomed by guests is the Tiki Bar, located on the south end of the Lakeside Patio. Here it is under construction.

As the owner of the Eagle’s Nest, Eagle Point Marina, and Lucero’s Mexican Bar & Grill, Blair shows his support for Clark Lake. You’ll find the names of all three on the Community Center’s Recognition Display and the soon to be mounted Pretty Pergola Plaque.
These acknowledge donors who opened their hearts and checkbooks to ensure the historic Graziani cottage was restored, and the Pretty Pergola, built.
The Nest has also become a center for events, like hosting the Shop with a Cop fundraiser for kids, the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics, Ladies Wine Tasting, and Raft-O-Rama. Here’s a flashback to the not so distant past.
