Both nights were special.  Tonight (Wednesday 7/27/16), the sun’s decline started with molten lava.  It was if the cloud bank was the side of a volcano, and the lava burned through it revealing the inferno within.  Then, as the sun neared the horizon, a sliver of deep red shone through.  Finally, it left us with shades of pink and blue.
