Both nights were special. Tonight (Wednesday 7/27/16), the sun’s decline started with molten lava. It was if the cloud bank was the side of a volcano, and the lava burned through it revealing the inferno within. Then, as the sun neared the horizon, a sliver of deep red shone through. Finally, it left us with shades of pink and blue.
Last night (Tuesday) also offered engaging moments. Diane Deming’s photos below show fire in the sky.
