Clark Lake woke up to a deep freeze with temperatures well below zero.

Lots of sun can fool you.  As water flowed over the dam in the DamCam photo below, the temperature was -4.

Although harder to see in this still shot, a closer live view of the basin reveals steam rising from the water.

In this DamCam photo of Eagle Point, the flag illustrates that wind chill is a big factor.

Last night’s wolf moon was impressive.  In this photo from Ann Swain, the moon is rising while there is a vestige of the setting sun reflecting on the snow.

In Bill Leutz’s photo below from this morning, the moon is setting.

Yesterday was cold, but not a deep freeze like this morning.  Sunday was a bright, high contrast, day as Bill Leutz found out in taking the photo below.
