Clark Lake is known for its neighborhood parties. Neighbors from Lakeview West and Eagle Point Road gathered on Saturday to enjoy the lake and each other. Originally Ron and Beth June intended for the event to take place on their front lawn. But then came Saturday’s unsettled weather. So, just in case, all took cover in the roomy garage belonging to Lakeview newcomers Andy and Amanda Kirkpatrick.
A special feature of the party was having your cake, and eating it too. Clark Lake’s Spirit Trail never tasted so good.
