Tomorrow evening (Wednesday) will be spooky at Clark Lake.

The Spooky Trunk-or-Treat is designed to give kids (and parents) an awesome Halloween they won’t forget.  It happens tomorrow, Wednesday, October 26th from 5 – 7 pm at Eagle Point.

Here’s what to expect.  Kids, 12 and under, will go table to table in the Eagle Point Marina parking lot and scarf up candy (safe source).  Since there will be prizes for costumes, kids are encouraged to wear them, but they aren’t required. Then it’s a ride on the Nite Lites Express Train from Eagle Point to the Clark Lake Yacht Club.  At the Yacht Club, kids will get a glowing bracelet.

Now, you should know this.  It’s said that the Spirit Trail can be haunted at this time of year.  Just to be sure, older Columbia students will line the route, all with the Halloween spirit in mind.

Weather permitting, Addams Family Values movie will be shown behind the Shipwreck Pro Shop on the Point.

What’s more, the Eagle’s Nest is providing 500 bags of free popcorn, and will have hot dogs and pop for purchase.

Parents are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, coat, and/or blanket.  It will be an alcohol free zone.

Special thanks to:  Tucker Boyers, Blair Huff, Lindsay Jones, Sam Jones, John Karkheck, Kirk Mercer, Police Chief Jay Niles, Jorge Orozco, Ric Walton, Tim Zacharias, the Exponent, and Clark Lake Yacht Club.
