County crews freed up a clog drain that runs under Jefferson Road and also services the Spirit Trail.
Runoff flows underground from south of Jefferson Road near St. Rita’s.
Water on the Trail also accesses the drain (normally has a grate over it). Until crews went to work today, it was full of brush and trash.
From there, runoff channels to a pond near Bentley’s barn. The earth mover cleared the channel to avoid backups.
These two were part of the crew making Clark Lake and its Spirit Trail a better place.
Thank you County employees for your hard work! And thank you Rick for keeping up on all things Clarklake!
