Warm sunshine, bright smiles, and the Clark Lake Spirit all came together for the annual Spirit Trail Spring Cleanup.  Two previous cleanup dates were deferred because of uncooperative weather.  Yesterday was worth the wait.  Check out this video to see who did the work, how they did it, and how you can help.

In the video, Tucker Boyers headlines what’s ahead for the Spirit Trail.  Two sections will be improved.  Once tree roots have been mitigated, a layer of new asphalt will make for smooth sailing on the former railroad bed at the west end.  The asphalt section through the County Park at the east end will get similar treatment.  Both projects will take place when weather conditions are optimal, probably sometime in May.
