Gauges at both ends of the lake recorded almost a quarter inch of rain this afternoon (Wednesday 8/17/16). The 20-minute rainfall delivered almost 4-million gallons over the 580 acres of Clark Lake.
Since August 1st, about 3 3/4 inches have fallen on the lake which amounts to about 59-million gallons. People who have been struggling with their boat lifts and shallow spots around their docks could be breathing a sigh of relief.
Then, as if to put a little frosting on the cake, their was another engaging show on the western horizon this evening.
