Consumers Energy crews repaired a downed wire on Eagle Point Road near the marina. The outage affected several homes–and some, but not all, of the service at the Marina.
The cause? It appears a branch, and not a big one, landed on one of the electrical lines. You can see the burn marks on this branch.
Looking closer, you can see splatter marks from the metallic wire still on the road surface.
Repairs did not take long. Power was restored before 10 am.
