Part of the Clark Lake Spirit Trail runs through the County Park. The Clark Lake Community Center is also located in the County Park.
There has been an ongoing discussion between Columbia Township and Jackson County regarding the future of the County Park at Ocean Beach. Current upgrade goals include re-establishing the shoreline with coconut bales called coi rolls, adding a sand beach for recreational swimming, future playground upgrades, restrooms and a handicap-accessible fishing pier.
