Independence Day is just around the corner. Once again Raft-O-Rama has crafted hundreds of luminaries to display along Clark Lake’s shoreline. Two ways to get yours – they are available now at Doyle’s Market and a crew will be knocking on doors around the lake. Watch the 29 second video and you’ll know more.
The idea grows a bit every year. The shoreline’s soft glow is magical as the hush of the early evening gives away to fireworks of the night. This year the lighting is set for Monday, July 3rd.
In each tote bag are 10 luminaries. The bottom of each luminary is filled with sand to keep it anchored. The small candle (included) is lit in the evening, and quite often, you’ll find them still burning early the next morning. Contribution for a tote bag containing ten luminaries is $15.
