Ladies Wine Tasting continues to blaze its own trail as it raises funds for the Clark Lake Spirit Trail.   Wednesday’s event drew a sell-out crowd and marked the first major social gathering of the new season.  Yes, there was wine tasting of vintages available only to restaurants.  And there was more. Scroll down to the video, and Janet Larson of the committee will tell you about it.

First, say hello to some of the smiling faces who graced the Beach Bar from 6:30 pm to 9 pm on May 22nd.

And more friendly faces below.

The Clark Lake Spirit Trail benefits from this event and others like it.  People like you can also make direct contributions through this website or by mailing a check to PO Box 224, Clark Lake, MI 49234.  Donations are tax-advantaged through the Clark Lake Spirit Foundation, a 501c3.

Volunteers perform  most of the maintenance of this 7.3 path around Clark Lake, but there are circumstances that require outside help.  Two recent examples include the laying of gravel to prevent erosion along the Trail section that goes through the Magic Forest, and eliminating dead trees that posed a hazard along Jefferson Road.  The Trail offers cyclists, runners and walkers the opportunity to enjoy the myriad venues that surround the lake—forested canopies, traditional lake neighborhoods, rural settings, parks, and of course, the lake itself.
