Yesterday afternoon (Thursday), this website reported another vehicle mishap on Jefferson Road. This one took place about 3 pm at the Q Lane intersection. Columbia Township Police say “a 28-year old male driver, with his mother in the vehicle, was traveling westbound on Jefferson in a Dodge van, lost control, possibly on a patch of ice, and went off the road and struck a tree stump. Both were transported with non-life threatening injuries.”
This morning, police provide this update: The woman in the car is home now and is okay. The driver is having surgery for a broken arm this morning.
