Ice…ice…go away. And just like that, some of it did. Fritz Wilger’s camera picked up the action from 9 am to 4 pm yesterday (Mon, 3/8). The perspective is from the north shore, east end. The big melt is on!

Below are two photos from today (Tues 3/9) at 8:45 am. As you can see, a portion of the ice in Pierces Bay has melted, some of it extending out to Mud Point.
