ice 3 Leutz ps 2015 03-30

The ice started moving early today propelled by a northerly wind with gusts of 25-30 miles per hour. Bill Leutz reports that along the Eagle Point shore “more ice is coming in, moving beach sand around, and pushing up over the stone breakwater.”  Given current conditions, he believes that this will probably go on all day, “from one part of the shore to another as the ice shifts offshore.”
