Lake ice continues to recede. Bill Leutz detects motion of large floes, but questions what will happen first–pile ups (like last year) or simple melting. In any case today’s (Sunday 2/28) sunshine and warmer temperatures (52 degrees at 1:30 pm) are encouraging the process. Then there was last night’s awesome sunset.
