The Garden Angels promise a sensory delight at the Clark Lake Community Center tomorrow (Sat 12/2). Walk in the door and you’ll take in the aroma of bake goods and the scent of pine from Christmas wreaths. The Christmas spirit will be filling the air. Cake, candy, and cookies are yours for a donation, all the result of the Garden Angels expert command of the kitchen.
The Christmas wreaths are hand-crafted. Two kinds are popular – grapevine and evergreen – for a donation of $50 each. Some samples below.
Gift ideas will abound. This fleece throw blanket would be a perfect gift for anyone contemplating a spring or fall raft ride, or perhaps relaxing in front of a fire during cold winter months. It’s definitely all about Clark Lake. Check it out below.
Craft items will be on display as you can see below.
Necklaces (not pictured) will available tomorrow.
Those who reserved a wreath via this website can pick it up between 9 and 10 am (you can still preorder by clicking here). All wreaths, and other sale items, are available during the Bazaar hours of 10 am – 3 pm.
If you haven’t seen the Community Center since the restoration, or the recently added Pretty Pergola, tomorrow would be an excellent opportunity. Below is an impromptu photo of some who visited the Community Center last year.
