As Clark Lake says goodbye to the season, here’s a powerful uplift for next summer. The Mahalak’s Freedom Fireworks display is planned for Saturday, August 5, 2023. Ralph Jr., his family, and Clark Lake supporters will once again dazzle the lake with this breathtaking event.
Freedom Fireworks will join other big events that weekend—Run Clark Lake earlier in the day, and Raft-O-Rama, on Sunday.
Only July 9, 2022, Freedom Fireworks delivered its promised awesomeness. Impressive only begins to tell the story on that summer Saturday night. Intricate patterns shone brightly against the night sky and sound thundered to every cove and shore. The lake was crowded with rafts and boats, each sparkling in their own way via their running lights. Other Clark Lakers were on their docks and lawns. All gathered to witness this celebration of freedom.

Cameras capture a limited view. The complex designs, the intensity of the colors, and the size of the images across the darkness must be experienced in person to be appreciated fully. These photos hint at the experience.
