The forecast for thunderstorms finally meant something more than very high humidity this afternoon (Saturday 8/13/16). Yesterday it looked like some real weather was heading Clark Lake’s way, but somehow, once again, it weakened and went around us.
Then after a few morning sprinkles, the sun peered through significant humidity and hobies took advantage of the breeze.
Then more clouds. Would this be another false alarm?
Clark Lake received a drink of water from above–not enough to raise the lake level, but a downpour robust enough to quench for a few moments the thirst of some of our plant life. Then this evening, another Clark Lake sunset presented itself for the record books.
