Over the lunch hour, those who kept their eyes on the lake viewed a special show. A two-engine seaplane landed on the lake. It was observed moving slowly on the water from Eagle Point to the west end. There it paused. A few minutes later it headed northeast with engines revving. As it gained momentum, suddenly the pilot apparently thought better of it as he collided with a large wave and was not far from a raft. He throttled back, redirected the plane and headed toward Kentucky Point. Below the slide show depicts some of his maneuvers.
