Several Clark Lakers observed a dazed and confused deer today (Sun 3/10) along Lakeview West. The deer wandered on the road, stood on decks, and in and out of the water. At one time the deer swam an extended distance from the Lakeview West area to Mud Point, where this photo was taken.
Andy Scott recorded this video near his Lakeview West location. Your reporter added a short clip of the deer at Mud Point.
This is not normal deer behavior. When a deer acts like this, it may be ill or have been injured. In the closeup photo, no injuries were apparent. Police have been notified.

She came out of the water on N. Shore. She is very confused and is wandering down N Shore. I didn’t see any obvious injuries and I was about 5 feet from her as she was at my deck. Hopefully, she’ll get it together.
