This area’s Crop Hunger Walk takes place tomorrow (Sunday, 10/9/16) on the Clark Lake Spirit Trail.
Participants are gathering at St. Rita’s Church at 1 pm for an opening prayer, lunch, and registration, according to the flyer. The walk begins at 1:30 pm and there’s an ice cream social planned for 3:30 pm.
Several churches, Kwanis, and Columbia High School Leadership group are participating. Canned goods collected will be donated to the Brooklyn Food Pantry.
