Creek Meadow Marine of Fenton will be the new owner of Clarklake Marine, having entered into a purchase agreement on June 5th.  Stephen and Leslie Brown, of Hartland, own Creek Meadow, and will take over their new acquisition on July 1st. Stephen will continue as President of Creek Meadow Marine, and will also manage Clarklake Marine.  Operations will move from the present Clarklake Marine location to 9400 S. Meridian Road in mid-July (currently Dry-Dock).  Stephen says Clarklake Marine will specialize in retail sales of boat and  utility trailers, docks, boat lifts, and continue to offer winter storage services.  The new owner indicates a letter will be going out to existing customers soon.

Stephen notes “I’m very excited for this opportunity to own and operate a marine business in my hometown of Clarklake!  I grew up on Clarklake, lived at Lake Columbia for several years, often visited other area lakes such as Vineyard, Wamplers, Devils, Farwell, Browns and others, and now have a cottage at Clarklake since 2016.”

Stephen points to his Clark Lake connections in the news release.  His parents, brother Mike, and Stephen moved to Clark Lake in 1976.   Stephen graduated from Columbia Schools and Spring Arbor College.
