Consumers Energy reports power went out at 10:54 pm (Tuesday 8/9/16) and returned at 2:39 am. According to CE’s Terry Dedoes, 300 customers were affected, primarily on Eagle Point, Sandy Beach, South Woodlands, Lakeview (West and East), Q Lane, South Shore, Keast Drive, Jefferson Road, and Finch. Consumers notes that the outage was caused by a tree in the area of Finch and Hyde Roads.
Those who invested in generators received a return on their investment last night. And as of 8:37 am, the sewer pump generator on Eagle Point Road was still running.
