Have you ever heard of Segal’s law? “A man with a watch knows what time it is. A man with two watches is never sure.” The same could be said about thermometers. At one Eagle Point home this morning, the temperature was -11, -9 or -8. Three thermometers indicated -11 at 8:16 am, so -11 wins. According to the winning thermometer, the high for the day so far was -2 at midnight. It’s been going down ever since.
In this photo from the Spirit Cam, you can see the steam rise from the open water around Eagle Point.
Today’s cold blast comes on top of about 8 inches of snow Sunday into Monday. Yes, it’s winter at Clark Lake.
winter at the lake is beautiful on so many levels – nice pic !!
I beat your -11 . I have a picture of my thermometer at 7:30 registering -15 at my Hyde Road home. I think I can classify that as COLD !
