Armida Pearse has a fish story, and it’s a big one.
Armida was wondering what to do with a recently painted wall at this Eagle Point cottage. She says “it was a large space begging for something to fill it.” She had purchased work before from Steve Sayles of Z Studio in Jackson. As the result of an inspirational visit with him came the idea for a 9-foot stainless steel fish. “It’s the lake, after all.” Steve crafted it for the Pearse’s, and it now hangs on the wall for all to see. If you are heading north on Eagle Point Road and have arrived at the Point, look straight ahead. You can’t miss it.
