Power returned at about 7 am. Power dropped momentarily a few times during the overnight. Around 5:30 am (Sun 8/21), it went down and remained down for about an hour and a half. Clark Lake, Lake Columbia, and nearby areas were affected, as you can see in the outage map as of 5:55 am.
Thunderstorms came through overnight. The Deming’s, east end, south side, report 3/4 inches of rain fell. At the west end, Beth June recorded 2 1/4 inches. Consumers did not list a cause, but wires down due to falling branches or trees has been common in the past. As of 8:35 am, Consumers outage map still indicates power is out.
