Columbia Township Police report a robbery at Kelly Fuels (Mobil station) at the corner of Jefferson Road and US127 yesterday at about 10:40 pm (8/16). They say the suspect entered the story through the main doors facing west, approached the staff and demanded cash. Police add the suspect displayed a weapon as well. The suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. A police K-9 was requested and aided in the search for the suspect. However, the effort yielded no results.
Police identify the suspect as a white male, about 6 feet tall, weighing about 200 pounds.
