As the organizer of the Clark Lake’s Freedom Fireworks, Ralph Mahalak Jr. schedules the event for the coming summer about this time of year. He says that it will not take place in 2025..
Since 2019, Ralph Jr., with his family and friends, have brought fireworks to the lake. That involved financial support, employing a professional fireworks company, and organizing the many details. For the last few years, Freedom Fireworks has taken place on Saturday evening of the same weekend as Run Clark Lake and Raft-O-Rama. This year, that date conflicts with the wedding of a family member.
Ralph Jr. says if someone else wants to organize and pay for the display, he will provide information. He notes that it is expensive.
Ralph Jr. adds “the entire Mahalak family has loved the Clark Lake community for many decades since buying a small cottage on the North Shore in 1982!”
