Eagle Point Marina will continue serving customers at its traditional lakeside location, but its reach is about to grow. A vacant building along US-127 will soon be transformed to serve marina customers in new ways.
Owner Blair Huff says the property will feature a spacious showroom for viewing the latest pontoons and provide additional boat storage during the off-season. “We’ve learned that people fall in love with lake life when they visit the Eagle’s Nest. US 127 is highly traveled and this location will acquaint even more people with boating,”

The new site is at 8875 S. Meridian Road, on the east side of US-127 just north of another Clark Lake business, A Plus Electric.

The property is zoned light industrial. Columbia Charter Township Planning Commission previously recommended approval. The plan was formally approved by Township trustees at the last night’s board meeting (Mon 8/18).

Work will begin with brush removal, color remodel, and new windows. Blair Huff says he hopes to open the new location by November, with a special welcome event.

Other business transacted at the Township meeting included an update on sewers, municipal services, and public comment. Look for a future update on those topics.
