Columbia Charter Township Police have rounded up three individuals who they say have been involved in criminal activity in the Township during late June and early July. One of their victims lives on the North Shore of Clark Lake. The victim unknowingly purchased a tractor police say was stolen from one of the breaking and entering’s on Wolf Lake.
During their investigation, police obtained a search warrant for a residence in the 5000 block of Benton Road in Napoleon Township. As a result, police located and seized many pieces of stolen property. They obtained further incriminating evidence through several interviews.
The investigative report was forwarded to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office for review of criminal charges. At the conclusion of the review the following charges were authorized:
Sandy A. Wilcher, 44, Napoleon Township
Count 1- Larceny in a building, 4-year Felony.
Count 2- Breaking and Entering, Entry without permission, 90-day misdemeanor
Randall J. Gottschalk, 44, Woodstock Twp
Count 1- Larceny in a building, 4-year Felony
Count 2- Breaking and Entering, Entry without permission, 90-day misdemeanor
Cody J. Wilcher, 19, Jackson
Count 1- Breaking and Entering, Entry without permission, 90-day misdemeanor
Sandy A. Wilcher has been arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail on these charges. She was arraigned before the 12th District Court and is currently free on bond while the prosecution is in progress.
Randall J. Gottschalk has also been arrested and lodged at the Jackson County jail on his charges. He was arraigned before the 12th District Court and is currently free on bond while the prosecution is in progress, as well.
Cody J. Wilcher appeared before the 12th District Court on his own accord and is free on bond while the prosecution is in progress.

Good job I hate people who steal from people. These days people work hard for what they have. And for someone to just think it’s ok for them to take it is WRONG. Now if a Judge will give them a sentence that will make people think. 🇺🇸
