Jay Truchan
On Wednesday evening (8/6), the Eagle’s Nest and owner Blair Huff showed their support for Camp Liberty by donating a portion of the night’s proceeds to the cause.
Norvell Township Police Chief Jay Truchan, who also serves as Camp Liberty’s vice president, shared the mission: “Camp Liberty, located in Norvell Township, supports active-duty military, veterans, and first responders. We help those facing PTSD, physical injuries, and mental health challenges. Veterans and first responders are invited to hunt on our 100+ acre property. It’s all about building camaraderie and promoting healing in a peaceful, natural setting.”
Jay also arranged for some unforgettable entertainment—a flyover by a vintage war-era aircraft and a thrilling power paramotor demonstration.

Jordan Sheely has been flying paramotors for six years. He’s involved with Operation Phoenix, also a non-profit, which aims to give veterans access to paramotors.

The event also honored the memory of George K. Truchan, who was Jay Truchan’s father, an attorney, and well-known for his law enforcement work.

Another wonderful opportunity to support this endeavor! Police Chief Truchan and his team of volunteers always go “all out” to make Camp Liberty’s events a success for all; but always with its chief benefactors at heart.
