When you’re undefeated in any sport, how long can it last? For Mike Bullinger and Tim Claucherty, it continues for another week in Men’s Shuffleboard. They are 4 and 0. History suggests this team is a force to be reckoned with.  They were League Champions in 2016 and 2020.

Here are the head-to-head results from play on Thursday, January 9, at the Beach Bar.

Brad Beyer and B.J. Lyons brought home the largest score differential in last night’s competition, defeating Mark Fish and Eric Nichols 21 to 4.  Fish and Nichols were runners-up for League Champions on Super Saturday last year.  Beyer and Lyons also have lasting claims to fame.  They were League Champions in 2017 – and for two years in a row in 2022 and 2023.

Wondering what Men’s Shuffleboard at Clark Lake is all about? This video was recorded at the beginning of the current season and features Tucker Boyers, a founding member, and Tom Nelson, who’s been at almost as long as Tucker.  Tom Nelson meticulously scores each weeks play.  That yields a treasure-trove of statistics and puts Men’s Shuffleboard in line with other sports where statistics go a long way in telling the story.  Tom Nelson and his partner, John Menard, were the 2023-4 League Champions.

Here’s the 2024-5 schedule, the players and their teams.
