Summer 2020 is like no other. Events have been scaled back or cancelled. Among them is Raft-O-Rama. The annual event includes decorating rafts, the contest, Lions Club Chicken Roast, silent auction, the after party at the Point, and more. Because so much of it involves close contact with others, the Committee postponed the 60th anniversary edition of Raft-O-Rama to 2021.
Some Clark Lakers don’t want the summer to pass by without another touch of Clark Lake fun. They are urging their neighbors to take a cruise around the lake on Saturday, August 1st. Starting at Eagle Point at 3 pm, they intend to circle the lake counter-clockwise.
Boat Splash is informal. Decorating rafts is up to those on the cruise, the theme being “Anything Goes.” The inspiration? Don’t let the summer end without Clark Lake fun with neighbors–and the good times that go with it.
This activity is not an official event. It’s not the work of any committee, but developed by word of mouth, one neighbor to another. It’s not affiliated with Raft-O-Rama, Clark Lake Spirit Foundation or other organizations that are part of it.

Great idea!!! Thank you!
Clark Lakers his will be a good testament to see how many of you will come out and participate without any awards being presented or party being held ! Just showing your support for the fun of living at Clark Lake !
Show your Clark Lake Spirit !
I think my first Raft’O’Rama was in 1969 I was 12 years old. We did Gilligan’s Island, a kids raft. We thought we had the best raft ever and we did win a trophy! Looking back at the photos, it is so funny! Nothing like the elaborate rafts we decorate these days. It has always been a great Clark Lake tradition!
We live in the best place ever, My mothers Camelot. We will be there for sure!
