If you’re by your fireplace, cozy and warm, then looking out the window at the lake has a certain charm today.  Beth June captured a few scenes from along the Eagle Point shore, west end, earlier today (Monday, Jan 5).

At 1 pm, the temperature hadn’t crawled out of the single digits (9 degrees).  The winter-like feel was intensified by winds whipping out of the west at 14 mph creating a -7 wind chill factor. Snow and single digits are ahead.  Throw in another log and bring on the hot chocolate!
