Along with melting snow, there’s another sure sign that spring is on the way–spring clean up of the Clark Lake Spirit Trail. Ann Swain reports that this year’s cleanup will take place on Saturday, March 21st starting at 9 am (rain date, March 22). Would you like to be part of this annual event? Bring clean up tools like rakes, trimmers, clippers, leaf bags, etc., and most importantly yourself to the County Park. The Trail stretches around the circumference of the lake, and meeting at the County Park will allow for organization of the clean up for all areas of the Trail.
The Spirit Trail officially opens on April 1st.

I am sorry that I will be missing clean up day this year.
I’m still in NY until the end of March.
I hope you will have new volunteers to pick up my place.
