Two headline events at Clark Lake today – Saturday, December 3rd.
The Clark Lake Garden Angels invite you to buy a Christmas wreath at the Community Center from 11 am to 2 pm today. Your $50 donation will help purchase supplies for the new season. Mulch and new plants are needed each year. Together with the magic they apply, Clark Lake can expect to enjoy this.
The Angels have handcrafted 35 wreaths this year. Come early, supplies are limited.
Shop with a Cop improves the holiday for kids who could use the boost. Last year 16 kids had a Christmas they won’t forget. Columbia Township Police went to work as Santa’s helpers, and others pitched in. Organizer John Karkheck says Chief Jay Niles and Eagle’s Nest owner Blair Huff will accept donations from noon to 3 pm at the restaurant.
