Raft-O-Rama captivated Clark Lake today.  And for good reason.  Twelve rafts, decorated to the max, paraded Clark Lake’s shoreline.  On display were the awesome talent of the participants—Clark Lakers who conceived the ideas, and turned them into floating magic.

This year’s theme was Landmarks and Amazing Places.

The People’s Choice Award is base on the votes of people who came to Eagle Point after the parade.    The other awards are based on decisions of the judges.  Who are these judges?  We at Clark Lake will never know.  A member of the Raft-O-Rama committee finds a different group of people each year.  They, in turn, make the selections.  After the judges performed their duty at the west end at 10:30 am today, they left the lake on a raft going warp speed, were whisked aboard an SUV with darkened windows, and then were placed in a witness protection program.
