Participants are preparing for the 2018 Polar Plunge that will take place tomorrow (Saturday 1/26) at Eagle Point.  Registration begins at 8:30 am. Plungers show off their costumes beginning at 10:00 am.  The main event launches at 10:15 am. Awards and After Splash Bash commence immediately following the last plunger at The Pointe Bar and Grill.

So far, over $18,000 has been pledged in support of Michigan Special Olympics for this year’s event.  And who are these brave souls who will jump from the Marina dock into the frigid waters of Clark Lake?  Click on the link below to bring up the names (you may need to click a second time once the colored document surfaces).

The weather?  It looks like showers are a possibility, but the air temperature will be more temperate than earlier this month.  The water temperature is a different story.  For the latest forecast, please go to the main page of this website.
