Of the wildlife that appear at Clark Lake in the spring, Steve Harris has welcomed some recent arrivals. On Wednesday he placed three duck nesting boxes in front of his place, just east of the Eagle Point Cove. Steve says “almost instantly Hooded Mergansers appeared.” His latest count shows 7 pairs for a total of 14. He adds “every year we have babies born usually in May.”
