Fire destroyed a house on the north side of White Road, near Hayes Road this morning. The location is close to Lake Columbia. Among the crews responding were Columbia, Grass Lake, Cambridge, Napoleon, Somerset, Liberty, and Columbia Township Police. Bendele Construction was on hand, aiding firefighters. The call came in around 5:40 am. The photos below were taken about 10 am.
At the time of the photos, fire crews were engaged in fire suppression and combing through the site.
