All Run Clark Lake events return this year—5k and 12k Runs, 5k Walk and 3/4 Kids Run.  Race founder and director Pat Dwyer comments,  “It will be great to have the 12K going around the entire lake. It was the only event prior to 1993. That is the year the 12K replaced the CL 7, and added the 5K Run, the 5K Walk and the 3/4K Kids Run.”  Pat adds it’s a “true festival of events.”  For entry details, please click here.

The Run attracts Clark Lakers and others from the local area.  It has also achieved notable recognition in the vast running world and has drawn true running stars.  Bill Rodgers is known as the greatest marathoner of all time.  Bill came to Clark Lake and ran the 12K in 2015.  To remember that historic moment, please click here.

You can get an up close and personal feel for the Run from this video:

Both Run Clark Lake and Raft-O-Rama always occur on the same weekend.  The Run starts at 8:30 am on Saturday, August 6, and Raft-O-Rama begins at 10:30 am on Sunday, August 7th.  Run Clark Lake’s starting point is on Ocean Beach Road in front of the Beach Bar.  The Raft-O-Rama parade begins at the west end of the lake, moves counter-clockwise along the lakeshore, passes the photo review at the Eagle Point Marina Dock, and then continues around the Point on its full lake journey.  After the parade, the party amps up at Eagle Point.

Below are more flashbacks to 2021

Check out the stop action for the 5K run.

The 5K walkers also had the Clark Lake Spirit.

Nobody could stop the kids, as you will see in this slide show.

There was plenty to see just by looking around, as you can see in these random photo ops.
