By spring 2020, the Garden Angels will add to their magic with a powerful new tool. A new irrigation system will keep thirsty plants happy in the Triangle at Ocean Beach and North Lake Roads. Up until now, the Angels had to navigate traffic to stretch an industrial grade hose across Ocean Beach Road. That made watering plants everyday not possible. So drought-resistant became a sought after characteristic when choosing what to plant. That’s about to change.
Part one of Bigger Blooms for Thirsty Plants was recently accomplished—boring a water feed line under Ocean Beach Road. The next step is installing a sprinkler system on the Triangle. Let the Garden Angels tell you the story in their own words in this two minute video.
