It used to be a Clark Lake custom that docks would go in the lake Memorial Day weekend and come out on Labor Day weekend.  Each year docks sprout earlier and come in later. This year, some docks were in the lake in March, just in time to catch 5 inches of snow.  Today (Sunday, Apr 24), more docks and lifts went in the lake.

Every dock is individual and each cottager has his or her own method for how it works.  As you view the slide show below, you may infer a couple of instances where the question arises–“how did these pieces fit together?”
