Bill's sunset 2015 03-05

Moments of exceptional beauty are more readily found in and around lakes, particularly Clark Lake!  Dwelling in the city or neighborhoods where there are no open vistas, you miss these memorable moments.

Clark Lake has many incredible displays.  But being ready with a camera is necessary to capture nature when it is at its best.  This afternoon and evening offered something special.  The light of the setting sun reflecting on glass-like snow created a look a chef might associate with lemon-meringue, according to Ann Swain.

Ann’s brother, Bill Leutz, captured the sunset from the Eagle Point shore.

Ann caught the sunset in several locations, including this shot of her backyard (Hyde Road).
