If you checked out the links to scoring, you can see the competitive nature of Run Clark Lake.  It attracts local participants and reaches out to other areas. Along the course route, you can picture moments of joy and anguish.  A challenge like this one draws one’s ability to marshal true effort.  You can see it in these photos–moments of exhilaration, drive and sometimes pain. Pictured are excerpts from the 5K Walk, 5K Run, and 12K Run. Run Clark Lake is in its 41st year. It’s important as one of Clark Lake’s iconic events, and also because it raises funds for the Clark Lake Spirit Trail.  Volunteers handle most duties but there are times when outside help is brought in, sometimes with a price tag.  You can review maintenance and improvements by clicking here.  Below is Race Director Pat Dwyer at today’s awards ceremony.
