This Tribute was written by Steve Lambert, son-in-law. He’s married to Lauri, one of Corrine’s six daughters.
Corrine and Allan Auty lived for their summers at Clark Lake. We lost Corrine shortly after Christmas this past year after a life time of giving, sharing, and loving.
Corrine and Al bought a small, quaint cottage at the east end of the lake in 1971, spending summers there with their six daughters. She loved to spend her time during the summer fixing up the cottage, teaching her daughters life skills and, at the end of nearly every day, fish Clark Lake! Most notable of her catches during her life time were a monster 22” small mouth bass and a 20” walleye.
Corrine left behind a legacy of caring for everything that is Clark Lake. She and Al saw how special the lake and its people are and, as a result, passed onto us that commitment to continue the tradition of spending our summers (and winters!) at the lake. Corrine will be missed dearly and her life lessons and love of her children will last forever.
God bless you Corrine and may you rest in peace. We’ve got it from here!
